Established in 2012, Kastell Building has become one of Canberra’s most exciting construction companies. Specialising in carpentry, construction and facades, as well as joinery manufacture and installation, Kastell has grown from its home in Queanbeyan to deliver high-quality work across Canberra, Sydney, and southern NSW.

Initially a part-time venture of Josh Kiermaier, Kastell opened for full-time trading when James Smith came on board in 2017. Today, Kastell Building employs 25 full time staff working across projects in ACT and NSW. From our beginning in window installation, we have expanded to provide joinery, carpentry, and construction management services in-house. Our projects range from premium retail brands to some of Canberra’s most iconic developments.
